Egg and Wemmbu were best friends,at least to some degree. They always fought because Wemmbu constantly teased him and always threw playful punches without caring how hard he hit—as expected of a kindergartener—and Egg always got really hurt. Why? Because he was frail and ‘built like a stick’, as Wemmbu described him.
It was just a normal day. The other kids were running around,playing and each taking turns on their own slide. Egg was crying because Wemmbu had jokingly pushed him when he’d tried convincing egg to go on the slide.
“I-it hurts!” Egg wailed,so loud that other kids turned their heads and the caretaker,Branzy,immediately turned his head toward them.
