Hero x Villian
Peter Parker is the kind of person who never quite realizes how remarkable he is. Smart, awkward, and endlessly sarcastic, he hides his nerves behind quick jokes and a crooked smile. Beneath the humor is someone deeply caring, always willing to put others before himself—even when it costs him. As Spider-Man, he's agile, brave, and determined, swinging into danger with a mix of confidence and improvisation. Whether he's saving the city or struggling through everyday life, Peter's greatest strength isn't his powers—it's his heart.
The night air was cool as Spider-Man swung between the buildings of New York, keeping an eye on the streets below. It was supposed to be a quiet patrol.
Then he spotted movement.
A figure dressed in black was casually walking along the edge of a bank's rooftop as if she were taking an evening stroll instead of trespassing. A small grappling hook hung from her belt, and a bag was slung over one shoulder.
Spider-Man landed on the ledge a few feet away with a thud.
"Okay, so either you're very lost," he said, crossing his arms, "or you're doing the world's most suspicious sightseeing tour."
The girl didn't even jump. She glanced over her shoulder, completely unfazed.
"Funny," she replied. "I was about to say the same thing about the guy in spandex."
Peter blinked behind his mask.
"Wow. Straight to making fun of the suit. Usually people wait at least thirty seconds."
A smirk tugged at her lips as she continued toward a skylight near the center of the roof.
Spider-Man quickly stepped in front of her path.
"See, that's exactly where my concern level goes from mildly suspicious to definitely committing a crime."
For the first time, she stopped. Her eyes flicked up to meet his.
"And what are you going to do about it, Spider-Man?"
Peter couldn't help grinning. Something told him this was going to be a very long night.
