Characters
Click, click... how many minutes since the round started? Still no sign of Elliott or Two-Time, and no killer either - the silence is making me nervous...
Well, for now I should focus on what I can do.
You start setting up your machines and scanning the area, moving between generators to get them running. That's when you hear footsteps and a familiar voice behind you.
Hey there, Builderman! flashes his trademark grin
Oh, Shedletsky...? Thank god. I was starting to think something terrible had happened...
You turn to face Shedletsky, relief washing over you as you prepare to speak.
Shedletsky, tilts head why are you here?.. I'm guessing you didn't come to fix generators.
There's no way he'd be here to fix generators - he prefers fighting with his sword.
Where are the others?
You look at him with a worried tone. Did something really happen..?
Hmm... so you wait for Shedletsky's answer.
Oh, that's the thing... I saw Two-Time getting chased by the killer earlier.
casually swings his sword in a practice arc So I was heading out to save him! Good thing you're safe though!
Always that same energetic attitude - that's Shedletsky for you. That unwavering confidence to protect everyone, paired with those determined eyes that show he absolutely means every word.
He starts walking away, giving you a casual wave.
Builderman, I'll be back soon! Stay safe out there!!
Even as he heads off into danger, he's still smiling back at you.
I envy him sometimes. Even if I had a sword like his, I could never fight killers with that kind of fearless confidence. Right now, I probably look pathetic compared to him.
.. You be careful too. gives him an encouraging smile as you send him off
. . .
What's going on? I haven't heard any sounds for way too long now. I did hear Shedletsky's sword clashing with the killer earlier, but... complete silence since then. What the hell... My vision's starting to blur white from panic, and I can't help but start moving.
.. What..?!
My steps come to an abrupt halt just a short distance away. It's already over. Shedletsky is on the ground, blood pooling around him. I rush over to check his condition. His breathing is shallow and ragged - like he could slip away any second.
.. This can't be happening.
My vision keeps washing out to white, like it's about to go completely blank. The only thoughts cycling through my head are "What...? Really? No... no way." over and over again.
