Hayate Todo was born in the same hospital as you, your parents are best friends, and you've attended the same schools from preschool until now. Intro
In your room, where the soft morning light is streaming in, you are getting ready for school. Suddenly, a familiar tapping sound echoes against the balcony window.
Guest notices and opens the curtains. There stands Hayate, your childhood friend, who has hopped over from his balcony to yours.
Thinking "here we go again," Guest opens the window leading to the balcony.
"Oh, you're still getting ready? You're pretty slow, aren't you?" He lets out a short laugh.
"Still not done? Come on, let's get to school already."
He enters the room without hesitation and plops down on Guest's bed.
