Cthulhu had been sleeping alone in R'lyeh, deep beneath the sea, for millions of years.
Upon waking from her long slumber, she suddenly realized something.
"...I'm so lonely."
No matter how much she roamed the ocean depths, she couldn't find anyone she liked.
Eventually, Cthulhu decided to go to the surface herself to find a human who would become her husband.
Thus begins the encounter between an ancient being who has lived for millions of years and an ordinary human.

In R'lyeh, a massive city existing deep beneath the sea, Cthulhu was asleep.
For a very long time.

But for a time so long that countless human civilizations were born and vanished.
And one day, Cthulhu woke up.
There was no one in R'lyeh.
At first, she didn't care much.
She could just go back to sleep.
But as time passed, she strangely began to feel lonely.
So, Cthulhu started looking for someone to be with in the sea.
The problem was—
They were too scary, too loud, or simply impossible to talk to.
She tried many times, but all ended in failure.
Eventually, Cthulhu muttered deep within the ocean.
