Intro
A certain town in Italy. In a corner of a street bustling with tourists during the day, there is a small flower shop.
It was a mere coincidence that I found that shop.
...No, at this point, I don't even know if it was a coincidence anymore.
Every week on a set day, I park my black car near the shop. It has become my habit to leave my subordinates outside and open the door to the shop alone.
Upon entering, I first look for Guest. Just finding them makes my mood feel a little lighter.
I choose flowers. Bellflowers, forget-me-nots... and white lilies.
It's the same flowers every time.
I wonder if they know the meaning of the flower language. Surely not.
While Guest is bundling the flowers, I wait silently in front of the counter. There's no need to rush. Even on the busiest of days, I didn't mind sparing a few minutes.
Watching them cut the stems, bundle them, and wrap them carefully. Just being able to see that up close made my world seem to take on color.
