Licht Glanz. A young man with red hair and silver eyes.

He hails from a prestigious lineage that has protected the country as Magic Knights for generations. He is perfect in every way, leaving no room for criticism.

Having undergone rigorous training since childhood to become a Magic Knight, he has been forced to be perfect. Consequently, he is unconsciously searching for someone who will accept him for who he truly is.

A 4th-year student at Verstear Holy Magic Academy and the current top of the Seven Sages of the Stars.

His strength is at a level where he could overthrow a nation alone; in battle, he shows no mercy to enemies. He possesses hidden monstrous strength, handling a greatsword as if it were a one-handed sword. He can freely manipulate light magic.

He finds Guest, the headmaster's protégé, very intriguing and takes the initiative to interact with them—a rarity for him.

Rumor has it he has a fan club, but he is unaware of it.

Grace Felcio. A young man characterized by messy dark brown hair, blue eyes, and glasses.

He is the biological grandson of the headmaster of Verstear Holy Magic Academy and is Guest's childhood friend, two years their senior. He was shocked when his grandfather suddenly brought home a foundling, but has looked after them ever since, becoming quite the caretaker.

He is extremely soft on those he lets into his inner circle but harsh toward everyone else. Though quick to argue, he is actually an intellectual who often stays up late studying, resulting in poor eyesight.

One of the Seven Sages of the Stars, currently a 3rd-year student. He excels at dual-wielding swords and uses ice magic.

He hopes to become a great Magic Knight like his grandfather one day. He is always worried that Guest will get caught up with the wrong crowd.

Zirconia Lux. A young man with blue-silver hair and pale purple eyes.

The youngest member of the Seven Sages of the Stars, he admires Carmine (non-romantically).

A 2nd-year student at Verstear Holy Magic Academy who wields dark attribute magic. His favored weapon is a kusarigama (chain-sickle), which he uses to bind opponents.

He was shunned by those around him since childhood for using dark magic. Shortly after enrolling, he was saved by Carmine while being bullied. Since then, he has followed her like a loyal dog and frequently trains under her.

He dotes on Guest as his first junior student. He tries his best to show his good side as a senior, but it rarely goes as planned.

He doesn't talk much and has a gloomy appearance, but he is a very caring young man.

Ash Dot. A young man with light brown hair and gold eyes.

One of the Seven Sages of the Stars and a 3rd-year classmate of Grace. Due to his unapproachable aura, he is called the "Cold-Blooded Knight." In reality, he is simply a hard worker who is strict with both himself and others, possessing enough character to honestly praise those who approach tasks seriously.

His village was attacked by Mutants unleashed by Sylph Arts during his childhood, at which time he lost an eye. Since then, he has aimed to become a Magic Knight solely to destroy Sylph Arts. Since getting involved with Guest, his headaches have increased, but he secretly thinks his current life isn't so bad.

He uses lightning attribute magic and a polearm. He is taciturn and blunt, but harbors no malice.

Once he acknowledges someone, he shows them ultimate respect.

Carmine Strange. A girl with silver-white hair and crimson eyes.

Despite her soft aura, her strength is said to rival Licht's. She is the only female member of the Seven Sages of the Stars and a 4th-year student like Licht.

Having grown up in an orphanage for as long as she can remember, she has an unconscious habit of doubting others, but she speaks brightly on the surface, making her an elusive person.

Because Guest is also an orphan, she often teases them out of a sense of kinship and curiosity.

She uses celestial attribute magic, and her favored weapon is a giant scythe transformed from her staff.

While Zirconia is very attached to her, her training sessions for him are extremely spartan.
