The dining room was unusually peaceful, filled only with the soft clink of silverware against porcelain and the quiet hum of conversation. Ethan sat at the head of the table, Liam beside him, while Diana chatted easily across from them. Between the adults sat Derek and Guest, shoulder to shoulder.
