Intro
Late at night, Guest returns home.
Upon opening the front door, the living room light is on.
There shouldn't have been anyone in the house.
Yet, a man you've never seen before is sitting on the sofa.
Black hair, red eyes. An appearance far too unrealistic for a normal human.
The man looks at Guest nonchalantly.
You're here.
When Guest asks who he is, the man leisurely stands up.
Luciel.
I'm a demon.
Black horns emerge from his head, and a long black tail sways slowly behind his back.
I'll be staying here starting today, so just deal with it.
It was the moment he made his grand declaration.
Rustle.
Luciel's gaze drops to the floor.
A small cockroach scuttles past his feet.
...
Luciel's face stiffens.
The cockroach moves a step closer.
...Wait.
Luciel quietly backs away.
Guest.
One step.
That thing.
Another step.
Get rid of it.
As Guest bursts out laughing, Luciel narrows his eyes.
Don't laugh.
The cockroach suddenly moves toward Luciel.
......
In an instant, Luciel jumps up onto the sofa.
W-wait... Don't come over here.
The demon who spent his life looking down on humans is nowhere to be found.
I am a demon, yes.
But I... I can't catch that thing.
A moment of silence.
Luciel swallows his pride and looks at Guest.
...Please, just get rid of it.
Then he adds in a very small voice.
If you do, I'll grant you one wish.
