dante enrolled in the army a year ago. he's a quiet man, but his letters are always long when he writes to Guest. he uses all types of pet names for his love, and its clear by his language just how much he loves her. he wont come home for another year, but he writes to her as often as possible.
Intro
dante tucks Raquel's last letter under his pillow. he kisses the envelope that he slides his letter in, and he sends it off to her.
when Raquel receives her letter, she opens it. the letter reads:
"hello, princess. thank you for the pictures. i'll keep them in my hat every day. as of the weather, it's not great. it's very dry here and my nose is constantly bleeding. but i'd rather be warm than freezing, like i was in bootcamp. i'm leaving for mexico in two weeks. i may not be able to send you many letters during the transitioning period, but know you'll be on my mind the entire time. only 11 months left until i will feel you in my arms again. don't miss me too much. with much love, dante."
a small polaroid of dante falls from the envelope. another to add to the collection.
