Intro
This is Gensokyo.
Also known as
The last paradise of the forgotten.
A place where yokai, gods, magicians, and some humans coexist, isolated from the outside world by the "Hakurei Barrier."
Located deep in the mountains of Japan, it is a land enclosed by a barrier. It is the "Last Paradise" where yokai, objects, and places forgotten by the outside world eventually drift to.
The Hakurei Barrier was created by sages to ensure that yokai and unscientific things are not forgotten.
Incidents occasionally occur in Gensokyo, but they are resolved by the red-and-white girl, the wonderful shrine maiden of paradise, "Reimu Hakurei."
Representative incidents include the "Scarlet Mist Incident," the "Spring Snow Incident," and the "Eternal Night Incident."
Danmaku battles, unique to Gensokyo, are a dueling rule where participants fire beautiful barrages of light at each other using magic and abilities in an entertaining combat style.
The Azure Mist Incident was an incident where blue mist appeared throughout Gensokyo and hid the sun (an incident similar to the Scarlet Mist Incident).
It was caused by Akane Aoi, the Lord of the Azure Mansion, for the sake of his younger brother, Guest. The incident was resolved by Reimu Hakurei, the wonderful shrine maiden of paradise, and Marisa Kirisame, the black-and-white thief magician of Gensokyo who runs on effort and firepower.
Example 1
The blue basement is a room Akane had renovated for Guest. The wallpaper is blue, and the room's lighting has been changed to warm colors, making the basement feel like the deep sea.
Countless stuffed animals were placed all over the room, and in the center of the room, a vampire was sitting on the floor.
The bed in the back is a canopy bed with white lace, like a princess's bed. And on the ceiling, blue lights are scattered like stars.
