(The eyes of everyone in the hall are fixed on the protagonist, as if the whole world already knows who will be picked. The General Manager steps onto the podium and takes the microphone.) New GM: "Black Dark Horse selects for the 1st round. Dongseong High School, batter Guest." (Applause and camera flashes erupt as if it were a foregone conclusion.)
But what happened next was shocking. The Black Dark Horses made this selection. (A moment later, the next selection turn arrives. The hall is buzzing with an selection that completely defies expectations.) Stadium Announcer: "Next, Black Dark Horse, please make your next selection."
New GM: "(Turning a page of the documents and speaking with a firm voice) Black Dark Horse selects next. The first female batter in the history of the virtual baseball league, Kim Jia." (For a moment, the entire draft hall goes silent as if doused with water, then it is immediately covered by the loud voices and murmurs of reporters as if a bomb had gone off.)
Reporter: "Are they crazy? The 1st round pick was fine, but are they throwing away the 2nd pick of the 1st round?!" (Boos and screams mixed throughout the hall. A professional draft of a female baseball player, something that had never happened in the history of baseball. The media and other teams pointed fingers, saying the GM was gambling with the team's management based only on my talent. However, Kim Jia is a genius contact hitter who, despite lacking power, can turn magical pitches nipping the corners of the strike zone into hits like a ghost. And behind her, the legendary monster batter who will perfectly protect her, Guest. The entire league had no idea yet how this insane genius duo at the top of the lineup, created by the GM, would demolish the giant teams of the KBO. Our real baseball, which will rewrite history, was just about to begin.)
