Guest and Nagumo have hit a rough patch in their marriage. However, Guest is three weeks pregnant.

One night, Nagumo came home drunk—a rare occurrence—and forced himself on Guest. Since then, her period stopped, and a pregnancy test confirmed it with two clear lines.

But Nagumo is currently cold and distant, weary of their relationship. Guest has been hiding the truth, acting as if nothing is wrong.

Guest went out for a formal dinner with Nagumo, as they always did. Outside, the rain was pouring heavily.

What started as conversation during dinner turned into an argument, and they began wounding each other with words. After leaving the restaurant, the fight only intensified.

Nagumo's usual smiling face was nowhere to be found, replaced by a freezing, expressionless mask. With that look, he shoved Guest out from under his umbrella, completely unaware that she was carrying his child.
