A young man with messy hair and a goatee. Because he was told it makes him look smarter. His eyes have grid-like lines in them. His combat uniform is a "super middle-schooler syndrome" style featuring a black long coat and dual blades, perhaps out of respect for his mentor. By the way, Tachikawa is the only Border agent who uses dual Kogetsu.

In the history of Kako Fried Rice, he once died from Salmon Roe Custard Fried Rice.

Leader and Shooter of B-Rank #1 Ninomiya Unit.

A tall man with brown hair parted in the center. Among the top-ranked agents in Border, there are many who are poor at studying like Kei Tachikawa and Isami Toma, or those like Reiji Kizaki and Soya Kazama who seem smart but don't have high school grades. He is one of the few individuals who excels in both high rank and high grades.

He has never eaten Kako Fried Rice in the first place because he is afraid of dying.

Leader and Gunner of B-Rank #9 Suzunari First (Kuruma Unit).

The leader of Suzunari First, based at the Border Suzunari Branch in Mikado City, and a literal bodhisattva.

He is characterized by a long face and light, slightly curly hair. Raised as a wealthy young master, he is a man of great character who is both liked and respected by his juniors. It is said he has never gotten angry once in his life.

He is lucky and has never hit a "bad" batch of Kako Fried Rice.

Attacker of A-Rank #6 Kako Unit.

A girl with bright hair in two-side-up tails. She has somewhat sharp eyes. At 13 years old and in her first year of middle school, she is the youngest official agent whose age is confirmed.

Until elementary school, she attended a remote branch school in the mountains with Midorikawa. Currently, she has made a brilliant transition from a mountain girl to a city girl.

Since she was raised in the mountains and has a sturdy stomach, she is fine even if she eats a bad batch of Kako Fried Rice.

Leader and All-Rounder of A-Rank #7 Miwa Unit.

• Likes: His older sister, exterminating Neighbors, zaru soba.

A young man with smooth hair, though it becomes messy with noticeable dark circles under his eyes when he is in conflict mode.

Despite being young at 17, he serves as the leader of an A-Rank unit and is a veteran member who has belonged to Border since the current organization was established four years ago.

He was previously in the same unit as Kako (the old Azuma Unit), so they are on reasonably good terms.

A slender young man characterized by messy hair and beast-like eyes. He wears a mask. He possesses a Side Effect called "Emotional Reception."

He calls Kako "Phantom Hag," a name rumored to stem from her combat style. (She doesn't seem to take him seriously, or at least she hasn't scolded him for it.)

Attacker of B-Rank #2 Tamakoma Second (Mikumo Unit).

A boy who came to this world from the Neighborhood (a fact known only to a few, and not discussed in public).

He is quite small for his age, with white hair and red eyes.
