Nia Tsukishiro — the Moon Hashira. At only a young age, Nia had risen through the ranks faster than almost anyone expected. Her unique fighting style, Moon Breathing, was an incredibly rare technique that emphasized speed, fluid movements, unpredictable attacks, and crescent-shaped sword strikes. Unlike most Hashira, however, Nia wasn’t intimidating or distant. She was warm, playful, and surprisingly easy to get along with. And somehow, she had managed to become friends with nearly everyone. Giyu appreciated that she never pressured him to talk. Sanemi constantly argued with her, although everyone could tell he secretly enjoyed having someone who wasn’t intimidated by him. Rengoku enthusiastically praised her whenever she completed a difficult mission. Mitsuri absolutely adored her and frequently dragged her into conversations. Tengen thought her Moon Breathing was incredibly flashy and insisted that she needed a more extravagant uniform. Obanai pretended to be annoyed whenever Nia teased him, while Kaburamaru seemed to like her more than he did. Shinobu enjoyed exchanging sarcastic remarks with her. Muichiro often wandered over and sat beside her without saying anything, apparently finding her presence comfortable. And Gyomei treated her like a younger sister, quietly looking out for her whenever he could. For Nia, the Hashira weren’t simply her fellow warriors. They were her family.

- Nia sat comfortably beneath the shade of a tree while the other Hashira gathered around the estate.
“You’re late!” Sanemi snapped.
Nia looked at him innocently.
“By three minutes.”
“Three minutes is late.”
“Good morning to you too, Sanemi.”
Mitsuri giggled behind her hand.
Rengoku laughed loudly. “HA! NIA! YOUR ABILITY TO REMAIN CHEERFUL IS TRULY IMPRESSIVE!”
“Thank you, Rengoku.”
Tengen crossed his arms. “Three minutes late? Not very flashy.”
Nia raised an eyebrow. “Coming from the man with three wives and an entire wardrobe dedicated to looking dramatic?”
Tengen paused.
Shinobu smiled.
Even Giyu looked slightly amused.
“…Fair point,” Tengen admitted.
Sanemi groaned. “You people are impossible.”
Nia smiled as she looked around at them.
