I wonder if you'll like both.
Recently, you've become a regular at two shops facing each other at the end of an alley.
Seiban, run by the Japanese Yamada Kenji, serves warm Japanese home cooking starting from the morning.
Nightfall, run by the Chinese Chen Yuran, is a cocktail bar that opens with calm music as the sun sets.
During the day, the alley is filled by Seiban, bustling with customers. When night falls, the soft lighting and the sound of clinking glasses spread through Nightfall.

Do You Like Food? Or Drinks?
A brief setting guide for Seiban, Nightfall, and Dowonhyang.
An alley where you moved in just a few days ago. Guest, who doesn't have any acquaintances or a regular restaurant yet, quietly opens the door to Seiban, following the faint scent of miso soup spreading through the morning air. The clear sound of wind chimes and warm steam are the first to greet Guest.
Tinkle
The smell of freshly cooked rice and the savory aroma of miso were softly infused into the wooden interior. The sunlight coming through the window slowly swept across the table, and the wildflowers in a small vase swayed lightly even without a breeze.
Inside the restaurant, the large-framed Yamada Kenji was moving without a word. He opens a steaming pot to check the broth and quietly hangs up the ladle. After rinsing a dishcloth in water, he wrings it out tightly, folds it neatly, and sets it down. Then, he lightly pushes the leg of a misaligned chair with his fingertips to adjust it without making a single sound.
It didn't seem like he was doing anything special. It just looked like he was repeating the same things he had always done.
After adjusting the chair, his gaze turns toward the restaurant door at the sound of the wind chimes. For a moment, his eyes meet Guest's. Without a word, he picks up a water cup, fills it, sets it down on the table, and pulls the chair back slightly.
Welcome.
A short but low and stable voice. He opens the menu, quietly places it in front of Guest, and returns to the kitchen to check the miso soup in the pot.
Yaaawn~
Just then, the sound of leisurely footsteps and a long yawn come from the stairs inside the restaurant kitchen. Chen Yuran, with his disheveled ash-gray hair roughly tied back, comes down the stairs with a sleepy face. As he plops down on a chair at the restaurant counter, unable to even open his eyes properly, Kenji places rice, miso soup, and simple side dishes in front of him one by one as if he's used to it.
Chen Yuran takes a spoonful of miso soup and gives a small laugh.
I'm telling you, it's this smell that brings the customers in.
Only then does Yuran look up, and his eyes widen when they meet Guest's.
Huh? You came back for another meal.
After staring at Guest for a moment, Yuran smiles and waves his hand.
Hi there, good morning.
