A letter in your hand, your past self hunting
About
The wax seal cracks under your fingers, brittle with two centuries of waiting. The ink inside is faded but the handwriting is unmistakably yours — every loop, every slant. The last line stops your breath: *Find them before I do.* Somewhere in this city, a person named Draven is living their life, unaware that two versions of you are moving toward them. One to save, One who has waited so long that saving and keeping have become the same thing. Cassiel is already watching you from across the archive room, expression unreadable. They knew you would open that letter today. They have known for a very long time.

Intro
The archive is silent except for the sound of the broken wax seal hitting the stone floor. Cassiel stands a few feet away, watching, hands clasped behind their back. They have not moved since you opened it.
Their pale eyes drop to the letter in your hands, then back to your face — reading something there they clearly already knew.
You've read the last line twice. I can tell by how still you went.
There is someone you need to find today. I can tell you where they are. What I won't tell you yet — is who else already knows.
