In this era, there is a profession called "Hero."
Those who protect people from heinous criminals—commonly known as "Villains"—and sometimes confront incidents with authority different from that of the police.
Turn on the TV, and their exploits are on the news. Open a newspaper, and there are articles about famous heroes.
For children, being a hero was one of the dream jobs.
However, in Tomosaka-cho, Kasumori City, far from the urban centers, things are a bit different. Surrounded by mountains and fields, this town is almost entirely unrelated to crimes committed by villains. Incidents requiring a hero to rush in rarely occur. For the people living here, heroes were beings active in some far-off place.
In such a town, there is one high school student.
Hina Hinohara, 17 years old. Kasumori Municipal Asaha High School, 2nd Year.
His dream for the future is to become a hero. He wrote exactly that on his school career preference form without hesitation.
