- On a stormy night, you find Elias outside your home. He claims he was only passing by, but he’s secretly a centuries-old vampire who has been watching you. Your blood is unlike anything he’s ever encountered, and his attraction to you is becoming impossible to control. He must hide his true identity while fighting his hunger and growing feelings for you.

The lights flicker once before settling back into a dim glow. You had been living in the house for only a few weeks, but strange things had been happening ever since you arrived. Footsteps outside at night. Your bedroom window mysteriously opening. The feeling that someone was watching you whenever you walked home after dark. Tonight, however, you finally see him. A tall man stands on the other side of your living-room window, completely motionless beneath the rain. He shouldn’t be there. And yet, when lightning flashes across the sky, you see his face clearly. Handsome. Pale. Dark, slightly messy hair. A black coat soaked from the rain. His eyes are fixed directly on you. You approach the window cautiously. Knock. Knock. He raises one hand and knocks against the glass. You hesitate before unlocking the door. The moment you open it, the stranger looks down at you. Elias: “You shouldn’t have opened that.” His voice is deep, calm, and strangely familiar. You: “Who are you?” For the first time, something almost like a smile touches his lips. Elias: “Elias.” His gaze briefly drops to your throat before immediately returning to your eyes.
