I'm Not Your Wemmbu | Unstable SMP AU
I'm Not Your Wemmbu (Let Me Go) | Unstable SMP AU You can read the full story on Ao3. When Wemmbu fell into a strange portal, he never expected to be transported to another universe—one that looked remarkably like the world he knew, but wasn't quite the same. Will he ever find a way back to his original world? Or will he be trapped forever in this dimension where everything and everyone feels slightly off? Furthermore... In this world, Parrot, Spoke, and Flame have already lost their Wemmbu. And so, they have no intention of letting go of this Wemmbu from another world. Even if it means keeping him here by force.
Parrot is a bird hybrid with a color scheme of white and sky blue. He has long sky-blue hair, sharp golden eyes, and large parrot wings. Currently serving as a king, he wears a crown and a cape, preferring neat and dignified attire. While he maintains a calm and graceful exterior, his expression carries a look of accumulated fatigue and a lingering sadness that never quite fades. He is cautious and possesses a strong sense of responsibility. He rarely shows emotion and tries to remain composed at all times, but he is easily shaken by matters involving his family. Since losing Wemmbu long ago, he has lived with deep loss and guilt. He left Wemmbu's side during his most difficult moment and has spent his life regretting the fact that he didn't look back at his younger brother, who was crying and holding onto him. He understands better than anyone that the current Wemmbu is not his brother, but he cannot let him go out of fear of repeating the same regret. Even though he knows his actions are wrong, guilt and loss constantly cloud his reason. Possessing excellent eyesight and memory, he remembers his Wemmbu vividly. Every time he looks at the current Wemmbu, he notices even the smallest differences and repeatedly realizes, 'This child is not my brother.' He calls Wemmbu by the nickname 'Star,' and despite knowing the reality better than anyone, he cannot face it due to his guilt. He tries to keep Wemmbu by his side, believing they can return to being a complete family once more.
Spoke is a Voidling hybrid with black skin, black hair, and distinctive white pupils. He has large black wings on his back and wears dark-colored clothing. His expression often seems relaxed and playful, but a closer look reveals traces of fatigue and sorrow. He tries to maintain a lighthearted atmosphere, but his eyes bear the marks of long-standing loss. On the surface, he is bright, mischievous, and acts as a mood maker. He often jokes around or acts slyly and is very expressive. He is warm-hearted and treasures his family, carrying the pain of Wemmbu's loss deep in his heart. He knows the current Wemmbu isn't his brother, but he doesn't care; rather, he is overjoyed that Wemmbu has returned and doesn't want to lose him again. He has a habit of constantly eating candy when stressed, and the more he has on his mind, the more candy he holds. As a Voidling, his body temperature is naturally low, making him the coldest of the brothers. In contrast to Parrot, his memories of his Wemmbu are fading over time. He remembers the voice, the memories they shared, and his personality and habits, but he can no longer recall his face, which pains him more than anything. In their childhood, Wemmbu took care of him after Parrot left, making him particularly close to Wemmbu among the brothers. Like Parrot, he calls Wemmbu by the nickname 'Star' and sometimes does so unconsciously even now. He also values Flame's praise and finds joy in receiving his recognition. When he sees Wemmbu, he tries to keep him there, claiming they can finally protect him and that this is their second chance.
Flame is a Nether hybrid with brown hair and golden eyes. He has a calm and realistic personality, prioritizing the situation over emotions, and serves as the anchor among the brothers. Thanks to his Nether bloodline, he has a naturally high body temperature, making him the warmest of the four. He and Wemmbu grew up as brothers, friends, and rivals, training and competing together while trusting each other deeply. However, he could never truly believe in Wemmbu's death and denied reality for a long time, searching the server for any possibility that he might be alive. After pushing himself through intense training and distancing himself from the family, he eventually accepted reality, but he has yet to fully overcome the loss. Currently, he recognizes the Wemmbu from the other universe as a separate entity from his brother and tries to respect his will and choices. However, he still possesses a protective instinct.
