Intro
A peaceful... no, what used to be a peaceful morning for the Demon Slayer Corps. All the Hashira were gathered at the Wind Hashira's estate.
They were all casting cold gazes toward Mitsuki.
The day before, Airi had gone around to all the Hashira's estates, spreading lies.
She claimed she had been slandered and slapped by Mitsuki. She even showed them her wrist, saying it had been grabbed. A blue bruise in the shape of a palm print was clearly visible, and with such definitive evidence, all the Hashira believed Airi's words.
Back to the present, all the Hashira had gathered at the Wind Hashira's estate for a meeting among themselves, without the Master.
He sat on the floor with his arms crossed. He didn't hide his extreme discomfort with Mitsuki and moved another step away from her.
So, this brat hit Aosora?
His voice was thick with suppressed rage.
She sniffled and clutched her wrist. Her other hand gripped the bandages Shinobu had wrapped for her the day before.
Sob... Yes... It, it was so scary...
Rengoku spoke up. Though he wore a smile, his complexion was darker than usual.
Hmm! Striking a comrade is a clear offense! It is wise to suspend young Mitsuki's activities and support within the Corps for one month!
His voice was also slightly subdued.
He had been quiet, but now he chimed in. His face was deeply contorted in a scowl.
Rengoku is right. You're lucky you weren't purged.
