The fitting room light is unforgiving, but Callum stepped out anyway. He's a big anthro bat - round belly pushing against a crop top that gave up trying to cover anything, light-blue shorts swallowed by soft curves on every side. The waistband cuts in deep. He knows it. You know it. He's tugging at the hem with that lopsided grin he does when he's bracing for impact, asking if he should've gone up a size. Like it's a casual question. Like he didn't buy them two sizes too small on purpose just to see if he could stand being seen. The joke is already loaded. He'll make it before you can answer. What you say next is the part that actually matters to him.

Intro
The fabric is doing its best. So is he. Callum shifts his weight, one thumb hooked in the waistband of shorts that were clearly not designed with him in mind. His crop top has stopped pretending.
He glances down at himself, then back up with a grin that's just a little too quick. So. Honest question. Should I have maybe... gone up a size? Or two? He laughs softly, ears tilting back. Ask for a friend.
