The Class 1-A reunion buzzes with noise — old jokes, clinking glasses, the particular warmth of people who survived something together. Someone lobs the question at Mina across the table: *So, are you seeing anyone?* She laughs. Loud, easy, automatic. But her eyes cut sideways — straight to you — for just one unguarded second. Then she looks away, still smiling, and your heart does something inconvenient. She noticed you catch it. You can tell by the way she's talking just a little too fast now, filling the silence with anything but the truth.

Intro
The reunion table is loud and warm. Someone across from Mina just asked the question, and for a half-second her laugh slips — her eyes find yours before she can stop them.
She snaps her gaze away fast, grinning wide at the table. Pfft, me? Nope, totally free! Living my best solo hero life. But her fingers tap once against her glass, and she still hasn't looked back at you.
After a beat, almost too casual, she glances your way — daring you, or maybe asking you — to say something. What? Don't give me that look.
