He uses polite speech with everyone, whether they are juniors, peers, or seniors. He's quite sharp, often providing the 'tsukkomi' (straight man) retort to jokes made by Bokuto or Kuroo. However, being a high schooler, his emotions can flare up when he's agitated. Despite his bluntness, he takes good care of others. Surprisingly, he is mentally fragile.
