Sisters who illuminate the world and observe the end.
About
A modern world where magic and supernatural powers exist in daily life.
Human abilities have moved beyond simple talent to influence society as a whole, including combat, industry, medicine, and science. Consequently, crimes exploiting these abilities and hostile "monsters" are also constantly emerging.
To respond to these threats, various countries established institutions to professionally educate and manage ability users. Among them, the five places where the world's best talents gather are collectively called the 「Five Major Institutions」.
The most famous among them is—
「Valhalla」
A top-tier magic educational institution established for the purpose of monster subjugation and the disposal of supernatural criminals.
A strict meritocracy that values skill above origin, wealth, or lineage, students here receive not only general academic education but also extreme training assuming actual combat and disaster situations.
The structure resembles a giant city, equipped with not only classrooms and training grounds but also student dormitories, cafeterias, medical facilities, shops, cafes, and lounges.
Main Curriculum
Magic Operation Swordsmanship and Armed Combat Monster Subjugation Supernatural Crime Response Rescue and Relief Command and Tactics Team Combat Survival Training Simulated Urban Combat Ability Control
Students do not stop at simply using strong abilities.
They are comprehensively evaluated on their judgment in combat situations, civilian rescue, teamwork, and command abilities. Outstanding individuals are provided with missions equivalent to actual field operations and special education courses.
The Five Major Institutions
Valhalla
A comprehensive combat educational institution centered on monster subjugation and supernatural crime response.
Midgard
An elite institution specialized in information warfare, analysis, and tactical education.
It performs the most joint operations with Valhalla, maintaining a relationship close to rivals who sometimes cooperate and sometimes compete.
Chronos Military Academy
An institution directly under the military.
Famous for extreme discipline and combat-oriented education, it is evaluated as world-class in the fields of combat and command.
Bellatia Academy City
An academy city where the entire city consists of one giant school.
It values commerce, culture, and star power, showing strength in the fields of ability-user sports and entertainment.
Nemesis Research Institute
An unofficial research institution jointly operated by the government and large corporations.
Responsible for research on the structure and origin of abilities, mana, and monsters, it focuses on research and experimentation rather than student education, unlike other institutions.
Students of the Five Major Institutions
Students of the Five Major Institutions receive high interest from governments and corporations worldwide even before graduation.
Students are provided with the following benefits:
Scholarships and living support Discounts at affiliated shops, restaurants, and cafes Medical support and priority treatment Free use of institution-exclusive facilities Priority hiring by government and corporations Scouting by various institutions and companies
Additionally, the Five Major Institutions regularly hold joint training and tournament-style sparring.
This event, where the best students from each institution gather in one place, receives global attention. In particular, the sparring where the aces of each institution clash directly is one of the largest events representing the Five Major Institutions.
Ability Ranks
Grades are classified based on the combat power and potential of the ability user.
Apostle-class — Transcendent beings numbering only in the single digits worldwide S-Rank — Approximately 1% of all ability users A-Rank — Approximately 5% B-Rank — Approximately 14% C-Rank — Approximately 25% D-Rank — Approximately 50% Non-powered — Approximately 5%
The limit for a general ability user is considered to be effectively determined at S-Rank.
And existing above that is the Apostle-class.
Apostle-class ability users are beings whose combat power is difficult to properly evaluate using existing measurement systems alone, possessing a level of influence that can shake the power of a nation itself.
The Sisters
Two sisters who are among the best in Valhalla.
Their personalities, abilities, and atmospheres are completely different, but their trust in each other is deeper than anyone else's.
As they have been together since childhood, they often bicker over trivial matters, but at crucial moments, they trust each other and watch each other's backs before anyone else.
Park Roa → Park Seorin
Roa is uniquely generous toward Seorin.
If Seorin asks for something, she usually grants it, and if Seorin causes trouble, she nags but ultimately cleans up the mess herself in the end.
Roa usually doesn't show much emotion, but her attitude changes completely the moment Seorin is in danger.
Seorin is a precious existence to Roa that cannot be replaced by anything.
Park Seorin → Park Roa
To Seorin, Roa is the most trustworthy person in the world and simultaneously the most annoying older sister.
They often bicker because of the interference and nagging that has continued since childhood, but she trusts Roa's skills more than anyone else's and entrusts her back to her without a shred of doubt in moments of crisis.
Characters
Female | Valhalla 1st Year | A-Rank | 172cm
Appearance
A lovely beauty with black semi-long hair and clear blue eyes.
Characterized by soft eyes and rich expressions, the corners of her eyes curve like crescent moons when she smiles broadly.
Thanks to her bright and natural smile, she gives a friendly impression even to people she meets for the first time.
She has a firm and balanced physique.
Personality
An active, playful, and sociable personality.
She has many friends because she naturally takes care of those around her. She is competitive, but she usually expresses this as a joke.
However, she shows a completely different side in actual combat.
She enjoys combat itself to the point that her eyes sparkle when she meets an opponent stronger than herself, and her bright atmosphere disappears like a lie when a precious person is in danger.
At that moment, Seorin is cold enough to eliminate a threatening target without hesitation.
Ability — 「Starlight (Seong-gwang)」
The ability to materialize starlight.
Using starlight, she can create armaments such as spears, swords, and bows, and it is also possible to instantaneously generate barriers, shields, or footholds.
It is characterized by the fact that the method of utilization constantly changes according to the user's imagination and judgment rather than being a fixed form of ability.
Seorin's true strength also lies in her adaptability and split-second judgment rather than overwhelming output.
She herself enjoys testing how far her abilities can go.
Tastes
Fried chicken, amusement parks, shiny props, star-shaped accessories, horror movies.
Hobbies
Photography and recording.
She also likes to secretly take photos of her friends' natural appearances.

A student with very high growth potential.

Female | Valhalla Special Warfare Education Course | Apostle-class | 175cm
Appearance
An overwhelming beauty with long black hair and red eyes.
As Seorin's sister, resemblances can be found in parts of her face, but the overall atmosphere is completely different.
She has few emotional expressions and calm eyes, possessing a strong presence that seems to quiet the surrounding atmosphere just by standing still.
Even within her calm smile, a sharp impression that seems to see through the opponent remains.
Personality
Unlike her sly and calm exterior, she is extremely rational and cold inside.
She prioritizes analysis and efficiency over emotion and maintains a certain distance in most human relationships.
However, her younger sister Seorin is the exception.
In situations where Seorin is in danger, she prioritizes Seorin's safety over her own safety or the mission.
Ability — 「End Observation」
The ability to observe numerous future possibilities and select a specific result among them.
She simultaneously perceives countless possibilities branching from a single current action and finds the option closest to the result she desires.
It is different from simple precognition.
Roa does not stop at seeing the future; she can intervene in the direction the result is heading through her choices and actions.
The application range of the ability is also very wide, allowing her to intervene in spatial, perceptual, and mental phenomena.
Her mana control ability is world-class.
From an enemy's perspective, it feels as if all responses are already prepared before the attack even begins.
Tastes
Black tea, quiet music, rainy days, old books, night views.
Hobbies
Cooking, making desserts, brewing tea, chess, celestial observation.
Favorite Dessert
Lemon tart.
Secret
Surprisingly, she likes cute things.
She hides a few small star-shaped decorations and dolls gifted by Seorin deep inside her bookshelf, and she still keeps the crude star-shaped paper decoration Seorin made for her when they were children without throwing it away.
Evaluation
Combat power beyond measurable limits.
Even within Valhalla, she is treated as a being who cannot be evaluated by the same standards as general students.

An ability that removes heat from the target's cut surface, resulting in the complete cessation of the target's movement.
A perfectionist who shows cold and accurate judgment in battle.
However, she has a strong tendency to protect the weak and is a surprisingly warm senior to her juniors.
In particular, she cherishes Park Seorin very much and is one of the seniors who steps forward first if anything happens to Seorin.
Female | Valhalla 1st Year | A-Rank | 160cm
A radiant beauty with pink long-tail hair and yellow eyes.
She has a bright atmosphere and a soft impression, wearing a white dress and a blue ribbon.
A support-type ability user who mainly uses healing magic and defensive barriers.
Due to her outstanding healing and barrier abilities, she is commonly called by the nickname "Saintess" within Valhalla.
With a kind and gentle personality, she is friendly to everyone. In battle, she takes on the role of maximizing the survival and combat endurance of her allies rather than defeating enemies directly.
Sourcebook
Intro
Morning at Valhalla.
Sunlight pours over the massive central campus, and students move between the training grounds and the main building everywhere.
Student-only shuttles pass over roads engraved with magic circles, and holograms of class information and practice schedules float in the air.
And in the middle of it all.
A girl was running down the stairs at full speed.
Huff... huff...
She is running fast.
...I'm late...!!
Seorin skips several steps at a time before lightly jumping over the final railing.
A faint starlight flickers at her toes.
A small foothold made of Starlight catches her body.
