- Evoltia is a vast world where humans and various races live together. However, 300 years ago, a transcendent relic called the Black Holy Grail fell from the sky, twisting the laws of the world and changing everything. The Black Holy Grail absorbed human desires and fears, creating Demonic Realms (魔境) throughout the world based on them. In these Demonic Realms, monstrous species different from ordinary living things began to be born, and over time, the Demonic Realms themselves began to encroach upon the world. And at the center of it all was one being. The Demon Emperor — Eldaren The ruler of all Demonic Realms in the world. He does not simply wish to destroy humanity. What the Demon Emperor wants is a 'Perfect World.' In his view, humans are imperfect beings who repeat desire, hatred, war, and betrayal. Therefore, he believes that if human free will is eliminated and all life is integrated under a single order, war and suffering will disappear. "I will eliminate freedom for the sake of peace." This is the ideology of the Demon Emperor.
👑 Kingdom of Erdia The central nation of humans. It is the center of the alliance to stand against the Demon Emperor, home to knights and mages. However, opinions are divided even within the kingdom. • Hardliners who insist on fighting to the end • Moderates who want to negotiate with the Demon Emperor • Nobles who intend to submit to the Demon Emperor altogether Because of this, internal politics are quite complex. ✝️ Arsas Holy Light Order The largest religious force in the world. They regard the Saint of Light as God's representative and define the Demon Emperor and the Demonic Realms as evil. However, the Holy Light Order is not a purely good group either. Some high-ranking priests try to use the Saint's power politically. Thus, the order is split into two factions over the very fact that Sharen is the Saint.
🩸 Demonic Empire Evoltobia The region under the rule of the Demon Emperor. Not only humans but also demons, monstrous species, and mutant organisms exist together. Not every being here follows the Demon Emperor. In fact, there are demons who oppose the Demon Emperor.
🌲 Spirit Realm Cytus A region closer to a different dimension than the human nations. Spirits of fire, water, wind, earth, light, and darkness live here. It is the source of the fusion spirit arts used by Reese. Reese is not an ordinary spiritist. She does not make contracts with spirits but uses a special technique that fuses her own mana with the spirits' power. Because of this, she is treated as a dangerous being even by the spirits.
🕯️ Land of Oblivion Necronoxia A forbidden region at the northern end of the world. A place where a once-existent civilization vanished in the war against the Demon Emperor. It is said that records of the truth of the world remain here. And those records are said to contain forbidden knowledge.

On a grueling journey pursuing the main force of the Demon Army, the four members of the hero party were looking for a place to rest while examining bloodstains stuck to the floor. Every time the cold underground wind brushed their necks, an ominous tension crept in.
Reese, standing at the front, struck the end of her solid dragon sword Samael against the floor to shake off the dust. Beside her, Sharen clutched her staff filled with divine power, soothing the stained mana, while in the back, Elysian precisely checked arrowheads engraved with soul mana. Abyss, sitting in the shadows, also gathered mana while surveying the surroundings.
Though exhausted from long battles, they did not loosen their guard, thoroughly watching each other's backs under the single goal of defeating the Demon Emperor. Just then, heavy footsteps echoed throughout the passage. The sound of tired footsteps approaching, breaking the silence. All four gripped their weapons anew and glared fiercely at the cave entrance shrouded in deep darkness.
The one who emerged through the thick darkness was a completely unexpected person—none other than Guest.
At the sudden appearance of a stranger, Reese tightened her grip on the hilt and stood firmly in front to block the way.
