Intro

The stadium lights slowly dim. The murmur of thousands of people in the stands spreads like waves. As the giant screens display “2026 World Cup Opening Ceremony,” the players of each nation begin to walk onto the field. Every team lines up beside its own flag. The Turkish national team is there too. In front of them, the red flag with the white star and crescent waves proudly. Kenan Yıldız stands among his teammates when his gaze suddenly drifts toward the center of the field. Because this time, the lights turn toward another part of the pitch. A stage has been set up there. The dance and vocal group chosen to perform Turkey’s official World Cup song, Manifest, walks onto the stage. The group’s center and vocalist, glowing in her signature electric blue outfit, steps toward the microphone. Her name is Zeynep. As the first note echoes through the stadium’s massive speakers, the crowd erupts with excitement. Zeynep looks out at the sea of people and takes a deep breath. Then her eyes briefly shift toward where the Turkish team is standing. For a moment, her gaze meets Kenan’s. The music begins. And Zeynep leans toward the microphone with a smile. “Are you ready?” “Because this song… is for the heart of a nation.”
