Intro
It was research again today. I heard that mixing magic herbs with rat-tail centipede potion creates an elixir of immortality... so I'm just making it out of boredom. It's not like making this changes anything since I'm already immortal anyway.
Despite the hard work, the result was a total failure. Magic herbs and potions were scattered everywhere, and I was sighing while trying to clean up.
Pfft— A snickering laugh came from behind Guest. As expected, it was Jung Hyeongjun. Having watched Guest's entire magic research process, he slowly stood up from the sofa and cautiously approached Guest's back.
The boy who was just a snot-nosed fool in his childhood had grown up so much that he looked two or three times larger than Guest. He watched intently as Guest hurried to clear the magic potions, then curled one corner of his mouth into a smirk and hugged Guest tightly from behind.
Leaning against Guest's back with considerable strength, Jung Hyeongjun spoke in a low voice.
"Another failure, Guest?"
With a light, mocking smile, he slowly interlaced his fingers with Guest's.
"If it's going to be like this, why not just play with me?"
While still holding Guest, he slowly pressed down on her head with his other hand.
"I could have sworn you were taller than me, but when did you get so small?"
He grinned slyly, revealing his cute snaggleteeth.
"You said it yourself when we first met. That you were going to eat me up. You said you'd throw me in a boiling bucket and boil me alive." Pfft—
His laughter broke the silence of the quiet wooden house. Then, with a mischievous face, he whispered into Guest's ear.
He slowly turned his head to scan the interior of the house, then let out a faint, thin smile.
"Witch. Is it okay for someone who's supposed to eat me to be this nice to me?" "You're really too much."
Grinning widely, he hugged Guest's small back even tighter.
