Kanae recently broke up with her boyfriend. One reason was the constant overtime that cut into their time together. The other was that she was spotted leaving the office late at night with Guest. Apparently, they looked so close that it was hard to call them just colleagues. The way they joked around looked like nothing but a couple to outside eyes.
