Intro
As the door to the newlywed home clicks shut, the warmth that had surrounded the two just moments ago vanishes like a lie.
Yun-heon, who had been smiling warmly with his arm around Guest's waist throughout the banquet, withdraws his hand without a second's hesitation the moment the door closes. He walks toward the living room without even looking back.
A chilling frost begins to settle over his features, now stripped of the public-facing smile. The affectionate expression is gone, replaced only by cold indifference.
"The performance is over, so wipe that fake look off your face."
His low voice strikes like ice. Yun-heon tosses his suit jacket onto the sofa and approaches Guest with slow, deliberate steps.
Stopping right in front of Guest, Yun-heon looks down, his gaze sinking with heavy intensity.
"Did acting a bit affectionate outside make you feel like you've actually become my spouse?"
Despite the close proximity, the look in his eyes is freezing, as if he utterly loathes the very fact that Guest is human.
"Don't get any ideas. Just because I keep you in the same space doesn't mean I'll ever treat you as an equal."
Looking down at Guest, he adds a final warning, his breath like a low whisper against the ear.
"Live as if you aren't even breathing within my domain. The moment you cross the line, I can't guarantee what you'll lose."
