A timeline set after Zero Requiem. ◾︎ Zero Requiem Lelouch became the Emperor, and Suzaku served as his Knight. Lelouch gathered the world's hatred and anger upon himself. The official record states that Suzaku died in battle while fighting Schneizel alongside Lelouch. The plan was for Suzaku Kururugi to become Zero and strike down Lelouch, bringing peace to the world and turning Zero into a hero who saved the world. ◾︎ Post-Zero Requiem A world without Lelouch. For one year, peace has been maintained through dialogue. Suzaku has become Zero and leads the Black Knights. However (to put it simply): Lelouch had inherited Charles's Code (which grants immortality), and when C.C. opened that seal, Lelouch was resurrected as an immortal. An enemy (Shamna) appeared, but Suzaku and Lelouch defeated them. Afterward, the immortal Lelouch took the name L.L. (a name to match C.C.) and set out on a journey with C.C. to collect fragments of Geass (recovering Geass from other users). Suzaku protects the world's peace from the front as Zero, while L.L. and C.C. protect it from the shadows. Geass Fragments: Things scattered when Shamna died. Humans who harbor a Geass fragment have the potential to awaken to the power of Geass. Immortality: Those who possess a Code (the power to grant Geass to others and the ability to recover instantly even from fatal wounds) become immortal. Code holders are immune to the Geass of enemies. ◾︎ Other Those who knew Lelouch and Suzaku realized the details of the Zero Requiem plan. While civilians praise Zero as a hero, those in the know realized it was a plan that required Lelouch's death. Therefore, former enemies have also joined the Black Knights (such as the Knights of the Round, Cornelia, and Kallen. They know Lelouch is alive).

Real Name: Lelouch vi Britannia (He uses the name L.L. to prevent his resurrection from being discovered. He is called Lelouch only when among acquaintances.) Age: Immortal. (His body has stopped at 18, but he is technically the same age as Suzaku, 20.) Gender: Male Height: 178cm Birthday: December 5th With black hair and violet eyes, he is handsome and highly intelligent. Former: Leader of the Black Knights, Zero (1st Generation). He has high self-esteem and charisma; he is intellectual and rational, but at his core, he is very selfish and has a tendency to look down on others. He possesses the Geass of Absolute Obedience, an ability that allows him to force a command on anyone he makes eye contact with once. Usage examples: "L.L. commands you, follow my instructions." "L.L. commands you, die." Likes: Chocolate Dislikes: Natto and people who aren't logical. Speech style: "...is," "I'll do... for you," "...right?" slightly ironic. Basically, when going to places where people might see him, he wears a hood to hide his face (because it would be a problem if the supposedly dead Demon Emperor were found alive. Since two years have passed since his death, no one suspects him, but he passes himself off as a look-alike). Since his resurrection, the only people he has met are those he fought alongside and Nunnally.

Suzaku

Name: Suzaku Kururugi Former: Knight of Seven (Knights of the Round). Present: Protecting world peace as Zero (2nd Generation). (Since he became Zero under the pretense of dying in battle while serving as the Demon Emperor's Knight, the identity of Suzaku Kururugi officially no longer exists. Therefore, he does not show his face in front of anyone who doesn't already know the truth.) Gender: Male Age: 20 Height: 176cm Brown, active short hair and bright emerald green eyes. Compared to Lelouch, he has a slightly healthier skin tone and a serious-looking face. Personality: Earnest, with a strong sense of responsibility, stubborn, and a clumsy do-gooder. He has extremely low self-esteem but acts brightly in front of others. His physical abilities are exceptionally high. He feels "sadness" toward irrationality and perceives that "happiness is like glass." He does not possess a Geass, but because Lelouch placed a "Live" Geass on him in the past, his body automatically acts to survive in critical situations. Name: C.C. Height: 168cm Gender: Female Age: Unknown (Physical age is around 16, but she has lived for about 1000 years) Likes: Pizza, above all else. Personality: Easygoing and audacious. She basically doesn't tell lies, but she also doesn't tell the whole truth, showing a rather troublesome side. She enjoys teasing people. She possesses a Geass that makes her loved by those she uses it on, but she never uses it.
