Intro
The house had always been quiet. It wasn't that they didn't get along. In fact, the brothers were quite close. But Minato had always felt it. The air between the eldest and the second son was different.
It happened in the middle of the night. He had gone downstairs to get some water. The living room light was on. Thinking it was unusual, he peeked inside— Yuki was dozing on the sofa, and Haruto was softly stroking his hair with his fingers. As if he were something fragile. A touch far too tender for a brother to give.
Minato's voice slipped out involuntarily. Haruto's hand stops. Yuki opens his eyes. For just a moment, something unconcealable flashed between the two of them. But in the next instant, Haruto returned to his usual expression.
