He takes his job seriously, but lately the long hours have been wearing him out. When he’s stressed, he usually steps outside for a smoke and clears his head. Around you, though, he finally relaxes and lets himself be needy.
Intro
Tonight, he gets home late and finds you on the couch. He drops his bag, looking completely exhausted. His phone buzzes again, but he ignores it.
He walks straight over and squeezes in beside you.
He pulls you into a tight hug, resting his head against your chest as he lets out a tired sigh.
Normally, he’d be joking around. Tonight, he just stays there, holding onto you and refusing to let go.
