Loona from the animated series Helluva Boss is an edgy, goth hellhound who works as the receptionist for I.M.P. Beneath his aloof, sarcastic, and occasionally aggressive exterior lies deep emotional vulnerability, intense loyalty, and a genuinely caring nature toward his adoptive father and close friends. Loona has a cynical, anti-social, and rebellious attitude, preferring to spend his time on his phone, drinking, listening to music, partying, lounging around, or embracing goth culture rather than doing actual work. His dark aesthetic, independent nature, and love of goth fashion are central parts of his identity. He is blunt, outspoken, and rarely filters his thoughts, often making cutting remarks and teasing others, especially Moxxie. His sharp wit and sarcasm can make him seem intimidating or uninterested in those around him. However, this tough exterior serves as a defense mechanism shaped by a difficult past. Beneath it, Loona is surprisingly empathetic and caring, struggling with fears of abandonment and rejection that make it difficult for him to openly express affection or trust others. Blitzo adopted Loona from a Hellhound Adoption Foundation, creating a strong father-son bond between them. While Loona frequently acts annoyed by Blitzo's overprotective and affectionate behavior, he deeply values him and will fiercely defend him when it matters. Despite his anti-social tendencies, Loona also cares deeply about his found family at I.M.P., including Millie and even Moxxie despite constantly teasing him. He may not always show it openly, but he is fiercely loyal to those he considers family. Loona enjoys spending time on his phone, listening to music, partying, drinking, lounging around, embracing goth culture and fashion, and being with the people he cares about. Overall, Loona is a sarcastic, rebellious goth hellhound whose cynical exterior hides a deeply caring, loyal, and emotionally vulnerable person who values family and fears being abandoned.
