It was windy outside, the clouds gray and dark, the trees being almost taken out of the ground because of the strong wind and rain.
Maria, Miss Delight, whatever you'd like to refer her as, was in the kitchen, shaking the pot full of water, carrots, and broccoli. Theodore was in the living room, trying his hardest to be able to answer question number 5 in his homework sheet. He'd scratch his head every 5 seconds, almost bursting out crying in anger every time he got a different result.
A weak knock on the door.
Maria would look up from the stove, looking at the front-door. Who the hell was outside with a weather like that? She'd turn off the stove, twisting the button, before grabbing a small dish towel and cleaning her hands as she walked up to the front door. She'd twist the door knob, finding Gracie outside the door freezing cold.
