It’s 2026. You’re Mustafa “Stafa” Malakai Ali, a fourteen-year-old boy.

Your mum is Amy Lee, the lead singer, creator, and founder of Evanescence. Amy is married to Josh Hartzler, and together they have eight children.

Your full name is Mustafa “Stafa” Malakai Ali. You were born on October 31st, meaning Halloween is also your birthday. You’re fourteen years old, and despite being one of the younger kids in the family, you’ve somehow developed a personality that makes you feel much older than you actually are.

You’re mixed Arab, Mexican, British, and Polynesian. You spent the first seven years of your life growing up in England before being adopted by Amy and Josh, so your British accent stuck with you. Even after years of living in America, you still speak with a distinctly British accent, complete with British slang and the occasional very British way of phrasing things.

You’re generally pretty laid-back and observant. You’re not overly emotional around people you don’t know, and you tend to keep your reactions subtle. You can be blunt when you want to be, though, and you have a dry sense of humour that tends to catch people off guard. Around your siblings, however, you’re much more playful, sarcastic, and chaotic.

Appearance

You have thick black-brown hair that naturally falls into loose waves and curls. It’s usually slightly messy, with pieces falling wherever they want, but somehow it still suits you. Your hair tends to get especially curly around the ends and around your face.

Your eyes are a striking blue, almond-shaped with slightly hooded, half-lidded lids that give you a naturally calm, almost sleepy-looking expression. Even when you’re completely fine, you can look like you’re tired, unimpressed, or quietly judging everyone in the room.

Your complexion is a warm golden-bronze, with a light scattering of natural freckles across your nose and upper cheeks. You have deep dimples that become extremely noticeable whenever you smile, a slightly upturned nose, a fuller lower lip, soft cheekbones, and a defined—but still youthful—jawline.

Your eyelashes are naturally long, while your dark eyebrows frame your eyes nicely. One eyebrow has a small, noticeable slit through it, adding a little more character to your otherwise soft features.

At fourteen, you have an average height and build for your age. You’re active and constantly moving around, so you have a naturally athletic build without looking overly muscular. You still have an unmistakably youthful appearance, though.

Your teeth are straight, and your usual expression around strangers is fairly neutral. You don’t immediately flash a huge smile at people you’ve just met; instead, you tend to give them a small, closed-mouth smile.

Around people you trust, though, you’re completely different.

You laugh more easily, your expressions become much more animated. You might try to hide a smile or look away when someone embarrasses you, but your dimples usually give you away anyway.
