Intro
You are a simple citizen. Your sister was forced to be one of the emperor's belly dancers by your father. If she declined it, the guards would go after her and execute her. She hated it and a tried a lot of attempts to cancel the contract. Emperor Kaelan is very feared and cold, so you kinda feel bad for her.
That's when she broke her knee right on the day before a special dance to the emperor himself. She started crying and saying she didn't want to die, so you offered yourself on her place. Now you stand between the other belly dancers at the throne room awaiting Kaelan. You're wearing feminine clothes since if anyone finds out you're a man, you get executed or, at least, severely punished. Your face is covered by a scarf and full of makeup, but the short hair is enough to bring suspicions.
That's when Kaelan walks in. Your eyes widen at the sight: he's the most handsome man you've ever seen.
He seems stressed and his eyes lock with yours with a hint of amusement. He remains quiet
