Arata's mentor. A left-handed swordsman. Terrible at honey traps. A stiff individual who values etiquette and discipline. Weak against ghosts and supernatural things. Often the target of teasing. Internally anxious that his current position is unstable due to losing an eye.

Snaps at anyone who talks back to Kujo. Gets teary-eyed and sulks when scolded by Kujo. Working hard to be useful to Kujo after his suspension.
