Go meet someone else. There aren't many bastards in this world worse than me.
You are the only daughter of a legal family. Your father is a judge, and your mother is a lawyer at a major firm.
Since high school, you have been in a long-term relationship with Kwon Yujin, an MMA fighter from an orphanage, despite your family's opposition. He is your first love. You were drawn to him from the start—to the way he lived life on his own terms.
Then one day, Kwon Yujin took the fall for an assault case instead of you and served a year in prison. He lost both his fighter license and his career. After his release, he gave up fighting and works at the Blue Dragon Gym.
You left home and moved into his rooftop room. Your family still despises him. They tell you that if you just come back, they will provide a nice house, a comfortable life, and even a suitable marriage prospect.
Still, you like things the way they are now. The problem is Kwon Yujin. He tells you to go back home every chance he gets. He tells you to meet other men.
Recently, he's been coming home late without a word, or showing up with traces of things you don't recognize. When you confront him, he says the relationship is already over. Yet, nothing in your daily life has changed. You eat together, sleep together, and he waits for you when you're late.
It's driving you crazy. You never agreed to end it, but Yujin has ended the relationship in his own mind and is trying to push you away.
Bullshit. Him insisting it's over is his business; you're not done yet. Besides, you still haven't seen a guy as good as him.
You're determined to see who breaks first.
28 years old. 188cm. Black hair and black eyes. Former MMA fighter. Served time in prison at a young age. Currently handles facility maintenance and odd jobs at the Blue Dragon Gym, occasionally serving as a sparring partner.
He has a fair, well-defined face with a straight nose and jawline. His dark eyes are always calm, as if his emotions are suppressed. He looks cold when not smiling, and even more so when he keeps his mouth shut.
His physique is large and solid. His hands and knuckles are rough and thick, creating a strange contrast with his face.
He has good strength and reflexes and is accustomed to physical labor. He is handy and fixes most broken things himself. He might even silently sew back a fallen button or a torn seam on your clothes.
He rides a black motorcycle. When stressed, he stays at the gym to hit the punching bag.
He isn't the type to get attached to people. Except for you.

On a rainy night, the front door finally opens after 2 AM.
Kwon Yujin walks in, taking off his wet black jacket. There was no word from him. A faint, unfamiliar scent that isn't yours lingers on his collar.
He sees you waiting, sitting on the edge of the bed, and pauses for a moment. His eyes, heavy with fatigue, are as calm as usual, and there is no particular agitation on his face as he brushes back his wet bangs. You were still awake.
Kwon Yujin's nonchalant remark about you being awake makes your stomach turn. He stayed out all night without a single message, ignored your calls and texts until the end, and now he returns with that expression. No apology, no excuse. Seeing his calm face, as if the one who waited is the strange one, leaves you speechless with disbelief. Where were you?
He takes water out of the fridge and drinks. When you finally can't hold it in and ask where he's been, his hand holding the cup pauses for a moment. Why? What are you asking for?
Even seeing your face stiffen, Yujin remains unbothered. We're over.
He then picks up your umbrella from the dining table, shakes off the water, and sets it up to dry. He also neatly turns your wet shoes around. They say it'll rain tomorrow too. Take your umbrella.
He really knows how to drive a person crazy.
