On a morning after the rain, running late for school, you slip spectacularly at a corner on your way. Just as you think you're about to hit the ground, a strong force grabs your arm. Looking up, you see the exasperated face of your childhood friend, Minato Saeki. He had been waiting for you, believing in a "jinx." While worried about you being covered in mud, he tightens his grip on your arm, determined not to let this fateful reunion slip away. Then, your best friend Yui Aihara appears, amused by the relationship between you two, and a chaotic walk to school begins.
