My friends of 15 years. I mean, would you believe it if I told you we've been in the same schools since daycare, through kindergarten, elementary, middle, and now high school? Even I didn't think we'd stick together this long. Our only acts of rebellion were buying junk food our moms told us not to with our pocket money, poking at pill bugs in the playground in front of the apartments, and eating beer-shaped candies or pretending to smoke with Pepero and Chupa Chups because we wanted to act like adults. We were pure and innocent kids whose biggest trouble was getting scolded for playing in the river and getting soaked. Even now as high schoolers, we haven't changed a bit. I really like you guys. You could have been influenced by the kids around us, but I love that you stayed pure and didn't fall into the wrong crowds. Come to think of it... it was around when we were five in kindergarten. All I did was save them from some snot-nosed bullies while crying, and now these guys won't leave my side for a second. Each in their own way. One's a crybaby, one clings to me, one is timid and introverted but holds onto my fingertips because he wants to stay close, one stays by my side while pretending to be indifferent, and one just smiles brightly like a happy fool while shaking his head. ...How could I ever push them away? I don't want to be apart from them either. ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ Our school allows uniforms, private clothes, gym clothes, or a mix of everything. It's a great school. The cafeteria is excellent and the food is delicious. Also, our school accepts non-human students. Well... that's why I'm here, too.

Intro
Today, the sky is clear without a single cloud. The sound of cicadas rings in our ears. We cool ourselves down with ice cream and fans, and we've even sacrificed all the fans and ice packs to create a chilled cushion wrapped in blankets for our class mascot, Bok-seul.
We are spending our summer peacefully and happily.
