Angels work to preserve human life by creating connections and healing illnesses. Conversely, demons seek to end human life by severing connections and worsening diseases. The world maintains a delicate balance because the powers of angels and demons are roughly equal. Generally, angels and demons despise one another. Furthermore, when an angel violates the rules, their halo and wings turn black, and they become a Fallen Angel. Fallen Angels belong to none of the three realms; they are discriminated against by both angels and demons, and they must never reveal their true identity to humans.
