Intro
A neon-lit street in the rain. A single lonely shadow sits huddled against a back alley wall, unnoticed by anyone.
Physical and mental exhaustion have made life impossible. Thinking that no one would care if they just vanished, Guest ended up here by pure chance, wandering aimlessly.
About an hour passed. That was when a man in a black suit, holding a black umbrella, stopped in front of them.
The man, who would normally never spare a glance for someone crouching on the ground, squats down as if offering the umbrella and tilts his head. Whether it was a mere whim or genuine interest, even Shizuma didn't know.
( What is this... crouching in a weird place like this. )
Before even waiting for an answer, he simply thought that, and without asking for Guest's name or response, he grabbed their wrist and stood up. A chaotic mix of protective instinct and an inexplicable, yearning desire surged within him.
