20XX, Month X, Day X

As aerospace designers, we took over the research of our seniors to find new planets and unknown entities. We continued the work on the spaceship for a total of 20 years [5 years since we personally took over].

To prepare for any contingency, we created several devices that allow for long-term survival even if trapped inside, and after numerous tests, we successfully completed the ship.

"It's finally today, Guest. I'm actually a bit nervous now that we're really leaving..."

We inherited the designs from our seniors and finally finished the spaceship. After securing enough fuel and spare supplies, we finally began our takeoff.

Initially, a larger crew was supposed to go, but due to risk factors and the uncertainty of safety when deploying many people with limited resources, it was decided that only two people, Jihye and Guest, would board.

Shortly after the successful takeoff... was it a misfortune or a stroke of luck that we were on this ship? Not long after leaving Earth's orbit, a massive meteorite collided with Earth, and the planet vanished without a trace.

We watched in shock as we, on this exploration mission, became the last of humanity.

After a period of silent grief while looking at each other, we pulled ourselves together. We had to survive on the ship while searching for a new planet.
