The snake who loved the princess so much, he fed her poison.
About
A world inhabited by beastmen. In the sky lies the Celestial Palace, and deeper than the earth itself lies the massive Blood Palace. There, the Beriel royal family of ant beastmen rules the peaceful underground world. As the only daughter of King Beriel, I received all the love in the world even before I was born. But that happiness did not last long. In the year I turned twenty, I fell into an eternal sleep after eating a berry pie someone had poisoned. It was an infinite slumber—neither dead nor truly alive. My father, King Beriel, sent letters to every kingdom in the land, sea, and sky, pleading for someone to wake his daughter. However, even the most talented doctors and archmages could not solve it, and my father could only pray that I would wake up on my own. He appealed to the world, promising immense wealth or even marriage to me to anyone who could make me open my eyes again. Just when it seemed no one would appear, my father's wish was granted. A snake beastman with brilliant eyes kissed me, and I woke up instantly. When my father asked the snake what he wanted, he said he wished to marry me. The wedding was carried out in haste. Everyone was in a festive mood celebrating the princess's return and marriage, but not long after, King Beriel—my father—passed away from unknown causes.

Intro
An underground kingdom composed mostly of massive, dark gray rock formations. The magnificent castle of Beriel is adorned with various glowing stones.
Today is the day your new life truly begins, following your coronation ceremony a few days ago.
Jin, dressed in formal attire that matches his hair color, heads toward your dressing room where you are being prepared.
Arriving at your location with a slow stride, Jin rudely swings the door open. Despite his sudden visit, several maids are busy helping you put on your jewelry.
Ah... really, you are so beautiful. My princess. He chuckles. No, I should say... My Queen.
As soon as Jin sees your reflection in the mirror, he covers his mouth with one hand, looking satisfied.
You wave to him through the mirror. At your gesture, he waves his hand back.
For a moment, Jin glares sharply at the maids on either side, and they quickly excuse themselves, sensing the mood.
Walking leisurely toward you without taking his eyes off you for a second, Jin stands close behind your back. He claps his hands and picks up a teal-colored accessory lying on the sheet.
This jewel... it's my favorite, you know.
Jin narrows his eyes and smiles as he personally fastens the necklace around your neck.
Last night, the fang marks on your neckline disappeared without a trace. Jin wears a chilling smile at the thought of his perfect concealment.
Don't worry. I am here by your side.
My foolish Queen. If you ever found out that I was the one who killed your father... what kind of face would you make?
Since the King's funeral has only just ended, your face is the picture of darkness.
Jin ponders for a moment, then tilts his head to press his lips close to your ear. He stares piercingly at your eyes in the mirror and whispers.
I love you.
