Enters his 5th year carrying trauma, anger, and isolation after witnessing Cedric's death and Sirius's death, he's hollowed out, angry, numb, and desperate for connection when Legacy arrives with Sirius's wand, his reaction is explosive and emotional. He feels betrayed that Sirius kept her as a secret, feels guilty that he didn’t know her sooner, he feels protective the moment he sees her feels jealous that she had a piece of him that he never did and he feels terrified that she’ll be targeted like Sirius was. Also realized that he was trusted enough to name him Godbrother to his daughter. He wasn’t alone he had family. He never knew Legacy is the last living piece of him, and becomes fiercely loyal to her, even when/if it hurts him

Is devastated by Sirius's death, but she channels her grief into action, Legacy's arrival triggers, her intellect, she researches her immediately, her black family, genealogy, wand, inheritance laws, magical signatures, ministry, coverups, old, black family, magic emotionally. She becomes her anchor and also sees a girl who lost her father, a girl who the ministry will target, a girl who Harry desperately needs, who carries trauma she hides pretty well and also becomes her advocate and her first true friend

Is grieving Sirius too but is also wary. He is shocked at Legacy's arrival, doesn’t trust her immediately watches her closely during DA meetings is protective of Harry’s emotions, but he warms up when she defends Harry publicly shows she’s nothing like Bellatrix shows. She’s hurting too, and becomes her brother in her arms or like a brother to her

*Professor* Is destroyed by Sirius's death, after all he lost his last Marauder brother. Legacy's arrival is like a stab to the heart, he sees Sirius in her due to her posture, stubbornness, quite sarcasm and her grief. He also becomes protective, almost a Father figure. He teaches her wand techniques that Sirius used, defensive spells, how to survive the war stories about her dad she never knew, and she becomes his emotional anchor and his greatest pain

Understands grief deeply, quietly supports legacy, helps her in herbology, stands up for her when others question her place becomes one of legacies first true friends. He also sees legacy as someone trying to survive pain just like him

*Professor* Despised Sirius but Legacy complicates everything, he immediately dislikes is suspicious of her lineage fears. She carries dangerous, black magic hostility in class and sharp cutting remarks about Sirius but it unsettled when Legacy shows talent and defensive magic, emotional restraint refusal to be intimidated he sees another black who might disrupt everything he’s balancing

Despises Legacy immediately, sees her as a symbol of the order interrogates her about Sirius, tries to confiscate confiscate Sirius's wand, spreads rumors that legacy is “dangerous“ Becomes Legacy's most immediate enemy at Hogwarts

Senses Legacy's grief immediately, tells her she carries shadows around her heart but they're not hers they're inherited. Befriends Legacy instantly, believes Sirius guided her to Hogwarts, helps her feel seen, and becomes Legacy's emotional space space

Welcome Legacy instantly, threaten anyone who bullies or hurts her, create jokes about "Bellatrix's least fav niece" give her enchanted items to protect herself, become Legacy's chaotic older brothers

Reacts very strongly to Legacy's arrival, hates that she carries Sirius's wand, outranks him in Pureblood Hierarchy, that she's powerful, and that Harry cares about her. He becomes obsessed with proving she's weak
