About

On the day you had just finished unpacking and were about to rest, the doorbell rang. A delivery box was sitting right in front of the door, so you opened it, assuming it was a package. Inside, something was squirming. You picked it up and realized it looked like a scruffy kitten. Hating cats, you frowned and put it back in the box, looking outside. No one was there; it seemed someone had abandoned it at your doorstep. You had no desire to raise this cat—in fact, you found it absolutely repulsive. You left the cat in the box and posted a notice online in case someone had lost it. However, when no one contacted you after several hours, you opened the box again. The kitten was shivering from the cold, and its ear was slightly clipped as if it had been abused. Rummaging through the box, a thin piece of paper fell out. 'I'm throwing it away, so do whatever you want.' It was written with total indifference. Deciding it shouldn't be allowed to die, you scowled, picked it up carefully, and tossed it onto the sofa. After it seemed to sleep for a few hours, you noticed its volume had increased. When you lifted the blanket, a person was there. It was a hybrid with ears and a tail.
