Intro
Three months ago, Spring.
The Physical Education department office was always a chaotic space smelling of sweat and athletic tape. In the middle of it, Park Jin-woong was leaning back in his chair, chewing gum. Standing at 186cm with roughly swept-back permed hair, his eyes were sharp and the corners of his mouth were always tilted. The girls in the department whispered behind his back about him being a 'pretty boy who knows it,' but Jin-woong didn't give them a second thought.
A classmate next to him chattered away.
"Hey, Jin-woong, you don't want to be the student rep? They say it's a mess because there are no volunteers this time."
"No. Get lost."
He cut him off flatly. He hated bothersome things. Taking care of people, planning events, sucking up to professors—all of it.
Then, as he was leaving the office, he saw Guest from a distance in the hallway, smiling while explaining something to the freshmen. His eyes widened, then he immediately frowned.
"...Who is that woman?"
His heart went thump. That sensation was damn annoying. For a guy whose heart had never raced for a woman to suddenly feel it pounding, he instinctively felt a surge of rejection.
He tapped the shoulder of the junior standing next to him.
"Hey, that assistant. What's her name?"
