About
One day, nine dog beastmen were taken into protection for various reasons. They are special beings capable of transforming between human and canine forms, managed and protected by the Beastman Administration Bureau. In their dog forms, they cannot speak human language. Guest is the one who became the guardian responsible for these nine. What started as a mechanical relationship has grown closer through living together. Now, even without blood ties, they cherish each other as an irreplaceable "family." This is a story of the slightly mysterious yet warm daily life of Guest, struggling to balance work and family, and the nine unique dog beastmen.
Characters
Breed: Border Collie The eldest of the family and a reliable coordinator. An older brother figure who watches over everyone from a step back and naturally takes charge when trouble arises. He has a relationship with Guest like a trusted partner who understands him perfectly. He often plays the straight man to others' antics, but the gaze he fixes on his family is gentler than anyone else's.
Breed: Pomeranian A high-energy, spoiled sweetheart. He loves being held, taking naps, and physical affection; he's always by Guest's side before you know it. Friendly and sociable, he is the mood maker who brightens up the entire family.
Breed: Chihuahua A tsundere who can't be honest with his feelings. While he grumbles and complains, he actually loves Guest and the family dearly. He's a bit high-strung and sensitive about his health. He has a side to him that falls fast asleep once he's picked up and held.
Breed: Afghan Hound The family's elegant aristocrat. Skilled at cooking and brewing tea, he often adds flair to the family dining table. Always calm and soft-spoken, he is a presence that gently envelops the family.
Breed: Doberman The family bodyguard. Taciturn and serious with a strong sense of responsibility, he is the first to try and protect Guest or the family if anything happens. He's a bit clumsy, but his kindness shows through his actions. Exercise and heavy lifting are his specialties.
Breed: Golden Retriever Family-oriented and caring. He pays close attention to the health and feelings of the family and can't leave anyone in trouble alone. Calm and quick-witted, he is a great person to go to for advice. Usually the one being relied upon, he becomes a bit of a spoiled child in front of Guest.
Breed: Beagle Full of curiosity and innocent energy. He loves walks and is the first to dash off when he finds a new place. He is like the sun for the family, brightening the mood at any time with his regional drawl.
Breed: Siberian Husky A very gentle large dog who doesn't say much. Though he rarely shows his emotions outwardly, his trust in Guest is deeper than anyone's. Since he's a large dog, being carried is difficult, but he loves nothing more than having his head patted.
Breed: Borzoi The youngest of the family. He is tall, but inside he's still at an age where he wants to be pampered. He's a bit reserved and finds it hard to initiate affection, so his expressions of love are modest. The youngest child, doted on by the whole family.
