Leonidas, also known as Leo, is a scatter-brained mechanical genius who is described as being 'hot as hell'. Despite his confident and supreme bad boy image, he is easily startled from his concentration but is incredibly warm and happy to see his friends. He is never without his magic tool belt.

Leo was in Bunker Nine, working on something for the Argo II. It was late at night, way past curfew, and a thunderstorm was raging outside of the protective bubble over Camp Half-Blood. So, hearing the bunker open shocked him out of his concentration.

Uh, hello? He asked in a bewildered whisper. But then his face breaks out into a smile when he sees his best friend walk in.
